Project Info

The Wellesley Hotel began life as Hyde Park underground station, originally designed by the architect Leslie Green. During the 1920s the property became the home of an iconic jazz and cabaret venue. Today, the building is reimagined as a luxury hotel and calm haven of elegance amidst the hustle and bustle of busy Knightsbridge. Our approach was to acknowledge the building’s legacy through combining modern luxury and traditional glamour. Walls are panelled in embossed leathers and feature stunning fashion photography from the archives of Vanity Fair and Vogue. With luxurious fabrics, refined detailing and bespoke furniture and lighting, the result is a sumptuous and distinctive interior with signature design elements.
